The Gauntlet: Year Of Desolation Metal News

YEAR OF DESOLATION: extensive summer touring plans

Year Of Desolation Indiana thrashers YEAR OF DESOLATION will be touring throughout the summer on a handful of different packages. Starting in May with The Handshake Murders, the band will continue on in June alongside a rotating line-up with The Destro, Unholy, Apiary and Iscariot on the Lambgoat-sponsored First Post Tour. YEAR OF DESOLATION will continue on the tour through June 28, before departing to continue touring throughout July and into August, this time with Threat Signal and Bloodjinn.

YEAR OF DESOLATION continues touring in support of its Prosthetic Records debut, 'Year of Desolation,' which has been praised by critics as a welcome addition to the thrash and melodic death metal scene, which saw a January release. Produced by Jamie King (Through The Eyes of the Dead, Glass Casket), 'Year of Desolation' features in-depth design from renowned artist Paul Romano. Samples from the record can be heard on the YEAR OF DESOLATION MySpace site (http://www.myspace.com/yearofdesolation).
