CARNIVORE Changes Band Name Out Of Respect To Peter Steele

Sweden's CARNIVORE have undergone a name change.

Says vocalist Daniel Ocic Sundberg: "The band Carnivore will change their name to Eruption! This we do out of respect for the late (TYPE O NEGATIVE leader) Pete Steele's Carnivore. When we picked the band name we never imagined we would reach outside the local scene, or ever have any official releases.

But, as things have worked out far beyond our imagination, we want you to wave goodbye to Växjös Carnivore and give Eruption a brutal fucking welcome!!

Same shit, new name."
