Where's Axl?

Yesterday, several members of Guns N' Roses visited the Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas, TX. The problem was, the only member of Guns N' Roses was not present.

I can imagine the hospital director gathers all the kids in a room, tells them all she has some wonderful news; that Guns N' Roses are coming to visit them. Sure, the kids probably have no clue who GNR is and just think they are some punchline to bad music jokes their parents were overheard telling. Surely they've heard of Axl Rose.

The magical day comes, the kids do their best to put on smiles even though they are in immense pain lying in the hospital beds. Then one by one, members of the band walk in looking like they just got done touring with Morbid Angel. "WTF! Where is Axl!" resonates through the infirmary as DJ Ashba tries to calm the kids down by convincing them he is part of Guns N' Roses.

Gotta wonder where Axl was that was more important than this?
