Willie Basse Records Bass For Upcoming SNEW Album With Producer Ken Scott

WILLIE BASSE is currently working with Bobby Owsinski and Ken Scott recording bass tracks on the upcoming SNEW album www.snewyou.com at Total Access Recording Studios in Redondo Beach, CA. SNEW’s new album will be available via all digital media outlets in late 2011.

"I've been Snewed! This is a kick-ass project with really good songs that I can sink my fangs into,” commented Willie Basse about his latest project. “Working with Bobby and Ken Scott has been more fun than work and I'm very excited to be involved"

Owsinski, a pioneer in the art of surround sound music mixing, is a respected author, speaker and music industry advisor whose production credits include projects for Elvis, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young and Chicago. Owsinski also produced SNEW’s much-praised debut Snew You (2008) and We Do What We Want (2010).

Ken Scott is a legendary engineer/producer who has recorded many of rock's seminal albums, including The Beatles’ White Album, David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and Supertramp’s Crime of the Century.

Basse's new single, "Break Away" is available at iTunes. It features Lynch Mob/ex-Dokken guitarist, George Lynch and Scorpions drummer, James Kottak. Willie Basse is best known for his role as bassist/frontman for legendary metalheads Black Sheep, who were mainstays on the Los Angeles Sunset Strip during the ‘80s metal explosion. The band, best known for their technical prowess and precision, has boasted members that include Slash, Paul Gilbert, James Kottak, Randy Castillo, Kurt James and Mitch Perry.
