The Gauntlet: It Dies Today Metal News

IT DIES TODAY to release reworked album March 21st

It Dies Today This March will see the release of a revamped version of IT DIES TODAY's much-touted "The Caitiff Choir" album. Eric Rachel (Atreyu, God Forbid) assumed remixing duties on the Buffalo, New York hard rock outfit's reworking. Remastering duties were accorded to Dave Collins, known for his work with bands such as No Doubt and Queens Of The Stone Age. Currently, the group is holed up inside the recording studio preparing new, as-yet-untitled follow-up that will be released by Trustkill Records in the summertime.

Amidst talk of a European jaunt and other major touring plans for '06, it's doubtless that this year will be a monumental one for It Dies Today. With the remade "Caitiff" album featuring seven additional tracks, a cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" as well as newly recorded renditions of the band's "Forever Scorned" EP, it is much like IDT fans will be getting a total of 2 brand new releases, as this deluxe reworking has plenty of material that will prove to be fresh listening to the group's massively sprawling fanbase.

A Limited Edition version of the reissue is also on the table, featuring three of the groups videos, including the clip for "Enjoy The Silence."
