Metal Community Comments On The Death Of Jani Lane

The metal community is mourning the death of ex-Warrant singer Jani Lane this morning. Slash just posted a message saying, "Just heard about Jani Lane. What a shame. RIP man."

Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr stated "It truly saddens me to lose Jani Lane.You were my inspiration for what I love to do: ROCK! click here

Jamey Jasta posted "Sad news about Jani Lane. 47 is too young to go."

Bret Michaels from Poison added, "We'd like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Jani Lane regarding their loss."

Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue stated, "I just heard the sad news about Janie Lane. So hard to swallow when people have kids. RIP."

Alice Cooper posted a message calling Lane a "fallen brother."

Jani Lane was pronounced dead yesterday at 5:30pm when the Woodland Hills Fire Department responded to a call at the Comfort Inn.
