GOATWHORE launches studio update

GOATWHORE has posted their first video update from the studio on MetalBlade.tv or below. The video was shot and edited by the band and is the first in a series of videos that will chronicle the recording of the new album. The band is making quick progress and drums have already been completed.

Drummer Zack Simmons added the following: "Tracking for the new record went very smoothly with the help of excellent equipment. I played a Pearl Reference kit with Sabian AA cymbals. The drums sound like canons of doom. Every time I hear the toms I want to break something because they sound so damn good. The AA's were a perfect match in their ability to cut through the thunder of the drums. This record is going to have a giant pair of balls hanging from it."

Erik Rutan also produced the band's previous two efforts, A Haunting Curse and Carving Out the Eyes of God. More details, including art, music and more studio updates will be made available as soon as they are completed.
