The Gauntlet is excited to announce our latest area of the site, FREE. Free is a place where bands and labels can post full albums for download and visitors can download, share, torrent, etc. All music on Free is DRM free, full album, no need to join anything or like someone to download. Just click 'Download' and the album is yours.

The new area is currently in beta as we roll out some new features and load up more artists and albums, but you are free to download and check out some new music by some great metal bands. And check back daily. There is also a RSS feed on the main page of the site.

When is FREE not free? We realize that a lot of fans do like paying for music when they enjoy an album so bands that wish can accept Paypal donations directly from their artist page.
