RONNIE JAMES DIO Remembered One Year Later

One year ago today, the world was shocked to learn that Ronnie James Dio had lost his battle with stomach cancer. With wife Wendy Dio by his side, he lost his fight with the dragons but still lives on through his music.

Bandmate Geezer Butler stated "because he had an incredible voice; he was blessed with it. And he loved his fans. He'd talk to his fans after every show until there was nobody left. He was so genuine."


Dio was a legend throughout the world and is still missed.
