ASKING ALEXANDRIA Announce Details For Their Headlining North American

The UK sensation, ASKING ALEXANDRIA, took the world by storm in 2010 and in 2011 set their sights on becoming household names upon the release of their much anticipated new album, Reckless and Relentless, which is set for an April release. The group are ecstatic to announce their return to North America headlining a massive touring package this spring with Emmure, Chiodos, Miss May I, Evergreen Terrace and Lower Than Atlantis rounding out the bill. The trek, dubbed “The Reckless and Relentless Tour,” (presented by MerchNow, Guitar World and Revolver Magazine) kicks off on March 11th and runs through April 17th. This is easily the first must see event of the year. Either see below or visit to view the touring itinerary.
Ben Bruce (guitars) further states: “Hey everyone, so 'The Reckless and Relentless Tour' is our first headlining tour of 2011. It's gonna be bigger, better and crazier than any other tour this year. It's just gonna be flat out fucking insane. We can't wait to share our new songs with everyone. Our stage show, production and light show will be more impressive and more outrageous than tumblr, isanyoneup or any other nude band site out there. It will definitely make you scream harder and louder. I hope you are all ready to rock and fucking roll. Get ready, because we are fucking back!”
ASKING ALEXANDRIA recently released a special, limited edition EP/DVD entitled, Life Gone Wild, which is retail exclusive to all Hot Topic stores, in addition to being available across all digital retail platforms. This EP features two Skid Row covers, a brand new track from their next full-length album and a slew of bonus video footage.
The UK is very well known for breaking some of rock's most influential acts of all-time and as of 2011 you can add ASKING ALEXANDRIA's name to this already illustrious list. In Sept. 2009, this British sensation unleashed their debut album, Stand Up and Scream, upon North America and the disc quickly sent shockwaves throughout the metal/hard rock underground scene. This was a propulsive blend of aggressive music with hints of European Trance, soft catchy melodies resulting in a sound more mature than just your average play by numbers hardcore outfit. This was just the refreshing new sound that people have been waiting for.
In 2011, ASKING ALEXANDRIA ultimately redefine the landscape of the hard rock genre. The future of rock has never looked so bright.
