VOIVOD's 'Katorz' getting special vinyl release in November


Voivod VOIVOD's new album ‘Katorz' was released in stores today yet the Canadian metal band has plans to see the album released again in November. This time in vinyl format.

The band plans to release a deluxe vinyl version of ‘Katorz' in November via THE END RECORDS. The release will come in color vinyl and include special artwork and packaging designed by VOIVOD artist/drummer Michel "Away" Langevin.

The release will be limited to 1,000 copies and sold exclusively through THE END RECORDS' mailorder. There will be a pre-order for the LP.

In other VOIVOD news, on Thursday July 27th at 6 p.m. EST VOIVOD fans and music fans worldwide can catch the gala launch of the unique metal band's latest album ‘Katorz,' live on www.bandeapart.fm and on SIRIUS satellite radio (channel 93) with the band. The two-hour audio/video special will also air again Canada-wide at midnight on Espace musique (100.7 FM in Montreal).
