NORTHER have issued two updates from the studio. Check them out below:

October 5th (Heikki)
"Right on, so here we are at Astia Studios once again rocking off like hell.. Arrived on Sunday (4.10.2010) and on with the drums. It hasn't been so pleasant, at least for me this time. I must admit, that this session has been the most hard session in studio for me EVER..

With three broken cymbals, three broken bd heads, 4-6 broken pairs of sticks, a broken monitor mixer, I feel every freaking muscle in my body being totally destroyed, my elbows hurt, left leg is swollen..... 14-15 hours of blood and sweat, literally... score - pure awesomeness."

October 8th (Kride)
"Heyho!!

Yesterday evening me and Tuomas came to the Astia Studios to start to work on some keyboards and arrangements!! COOOOOOL. Very happy

After waking up this morning, I took a morning swim at Lauritsala swim hall. Damn what a great way to start a day. Now sipping some morning coffee. We are going to spend this weekend working with the keyboard things and then next Monday start to record the guitars.

There's a rumor that Danny the man (Daniel Freyberg) is coming to the studio today at some point. We might stop by at some local bar tonite to check out the boogie here in the Metropolitan of Lappeenranta.
