DARKWATER issue update

Swedish progressive metal band DARKWATER recently began recording their second album. Joining them on the album is Simon Andersson (ex-PAIN OF SALVATION) on bass.

The band have issued the following studio update: "We're almost finished with all the guitars! Magnus has started recording keyboards, and later this week Simon will start laying down the bass. If all goes well Henrik will also start recording vocals during the coming weekend. We're thrilled about the result so far, and we can't wait to present this album to you! We'll be back soon with more updates!"

As previously reported, the yet-untitled album will be mixed this summer by Fredrik Nordström (AT THE GATES, IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR) at Studio Fredman, and is planned for a fall 2010 release through Ulterium Records.

The debut album from Darkwater, Calling The Earth To Witness, was released 2007 and received excellent feedback from around the world, and among other things resulted in a show at the Bay Area Rock Festival in San Francisco, CA together with LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT in 2008.
