Vanmakt on hiatus

Vanmakt Leader M. Svensson from Swedish black metallers VANMAKT have issued the following update:

"I have decided to put Vanmakt on hold. I can't say for how long, it might be forever, or until I find the inspiration to continue again. The last couple of months I have been working with writing new material for a third album, but I've lost all inspiration. Music is supposed to be fun, and I can't say that I'm having fun with Vanmakt anymore. The recording for Ad Luciferi Regnum was a pain since I basically had to do everything except the drums on my own, and I can't say that I want to do that again. I guess you could say that I'm fed up with being the only member that gives a shit. Sure, I got myself to blame I guess, I'm not good at telling people what they can do to help.

The best thing I know is to write music, and record it. But not on my own.

I want to thank Roy and Calvin at Pulverised Records for the amazing support during the two albums we have released, and I also want to send a big hail to our fans! Stay brutal!"
