Gene Simmons is 'Smarter than a 5th Grader'

His decades as a member of KISS haven't provided Gene Simmons with much interaction with fifth graders (thankfully). But that didn't deter him from appearing on 'Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?,' nor hinder his raising a record amount for charity in the process.

On the game show, within 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' (Sun., 9:30PM ET on AETV), Gene correctly answered question after question (while KISS fans in full costume cheered him on from the audience).

"This is the farthest that any celebrity has ever gone," said host Jeff Foxworthy after Gene won a record $500,000.
