August Burns Red announce Japanese dates

For such an established band, 2010 is proving to be a year of firsts for AUGUST BURNS RED. On June 4th, ABR return to their hometown to film their very first live DVD/CD. Less than two weeks later, they'll be performing in Japan for the first time.
While the band has spent nearly all of its time on the road since the release of 2009's Constellations, criss-crossing North America, Europe and Australia, the band is thoroughly excited for its first trip to Japan.
"We're excited for the opportunity," explains guitarist JB Brubaker. "It's always amazing to be able to connect with fans on tour and we're thrilled to be able to perform in Japan for the first time!"
Constellations, the band's 3rd album, has been a critical success in the metal world, helping AUGUST BURNS RED to not only become one of the forerunners in the current metal scene, but also break out and reach newer fanbases. The album has sold in excess of 75,000 copies and has been lauded by taste making publications such as Revolver, AP, Outburn and more, further solidifying ABR's stature.
