Kylesa year end review

Kylesa 2009 was a spectacular year for KYLESA, who released the critically acclaimed, "Static Tensions," in March and spent the year on tour with acts such as MASTODON, CLUTCH, COHEED AND CAMBRIA and DOWN and appearing at festivals including the inaugural Scion Rock Fest, South By Southwest, and Planet Caravan. "Static Tensions" appeared on many year end "best of" and "top albums of the year" lists including Terrorizer (number 3), Decibel (number 6), Revolver (number 13), Kerrang (number 20), Metal Hammer Germany (number 9) and Popmatters (number 5).

Laura Pleasants commented, "We had an assiduous year and were happy to have had the opportunity to tour heavily on "Static Tensions" while touring with some seriously amazing bands. We look forward to continuing the momentum we started in 2009 by writing and releasing a new album and touring in 2010."
