Foreshadowing the epic, blackened overture to come, the title of Abigail Williams' first full-length album release (following up their 2006 debut EP, Legend) stands in testimony to what will surely be a defining moment in North American black-metal.... and the inaugural ceremonies have commenced in Notodden, Norway, with guest-drummer Trym (Emperor, Zyklon) recording at Akkerhaugen Lydstudio with engineer Thorbjørn Akkerhuagen (EMPEROR, ZYKLON, WINDIR). Once the drum tracks are complete the rituals will continue in the American south-east with producer James Murphy, at his own SafeHouse Production studio, for the remainder of the production and mixdown. In The Shadows Of A Thousands Suns will be unleashed summer 2008 on Candlelight Records.
