Skinlab and Mower Join Forces For 'Sons of a Sik World' Tour

Skinlab - The Scars Between Us Bay area heavyweights Skinlab and San Diego based Mower have joined forces for the "Sons of a Sik World Tour" presented by Sik World Clothing. The tour is slated to kick off September 23rd in Denver, CO running throughout October featuring tons of giveaways from Sik World Clothing throughout the tour.

"'The 'Sons of a Sik World' tour is going to be great because we get to play for a metal audience. Skinlab is fucking heavy and we're going to have to bring that same energy each night. Mower began in the San Diego metal and hardcore scene and now we'll have a chance to step back into that groove for this run," says Mower's Brian Sheerin. "These shows are going to be fun and we're happy that Skinlab invited us to join them. They've made a brutal new record and I know there are a lot of Skinlab fans that are excited to see them perform live and so are we."

Skinlab have recently released their new album "The Scars Between Us" via Stand And Deliver Records. The band's video for the song "In for the Kill" can be viewed online below. The clip, which features appearances by UFC fighter Nate Quarry and Greg Thompson, has been receiving airplay on Headbangers Ball. The group's new album debuted at #3 most added on the FMQB METAL Charts and has been already been receiving critical and fan acclaim.

The album is comprised of nine hard hitting Mower songs and six tracks from the group's new jazz lounge alter - ego, Slower.
