UNEXPECT and VOIVOD Up For Quebec Independent Music Awards

Montreal's rambunctious and unique classical/black metal ensemble UNEXPECT and veteran act VOIVOD have both been nominated for Best Metal Album Of The Year at GAMIQ 2007 (Quebec Independent Music Awards)
VOIVOD is nominated for 2006's album 'Katorz,' while UNEXPECT are nominated for their 2006 offering 'In A Flesh Aquarium.'
About the nomination, UNEXPECT have issued the following update:
"We're proud to announce that we are now one of the five finalists for the title of Best Metal Album Of The Year at the GAMIQ 2007 (Quebec Independent Music Awards). Thanks to everyone who participated in the first wave of votes.
Now we need your assistance again, since the public vote is 50% of the final decision. Consequently, we need all the votes we can gather !! Show us your support ! Thanks for your time¦
You have until August 31st to vote on the website."
