Rex Brown to sit out entire Down tour

According to a posting at the DOWN message board from the band's webmaster, bassist Rex Brown will now be sitting out the remainder of the band's North American tour.

Jimmy Bower stated to The Gauntlet that "We hope he is back with us soon. [Rex] is doing the right thing and taking care of his personal issues. He is definitely our bass player. Without a doubt he will be on our album. I love playing with Danny, but I would way rather have Rexy here. I am ready for him to come back. I miss him. All those years touring and getting tight; me and him worked out this groove thing. I hope to see him soon."
