The Gauntlet: Human Abstract, The Metal News

Hopeless Records Band The Human Abstract To Premiere Video

Human Abstract, The The Human Abstract will premiere their new video Procession Of The Fates on Headbangers Ball Blog (headbangersblog.mtv.com/) on Friday, September 19th. The video will also premiere on the TV show this Sat September 20th (11pm EST on MTV2). The video was filmed by Michael Grodner who has helmed videos for the band previously. The concept for the video reflects the concept of their new album Midheaven which follows a complete cycle of man from the dawn of creation to the fall of civilization. The album has taken off like a shot debuting at #163 on the Billboard Top 200 selling over 4,100 copies the first week.
The band are currently on tour with Trivium and All That Remains until mid October. Los Angeles based The Human Abstract have been criss-crossing the country for the past few years sharing stages with Every Time I Die, From First To Last, Drop Dead Gorgeous, God Forbid, Misery Signals, The Chariot, It Dies Today, Sky Eats Airplane, The Devil Wears Prada. They have just finished a summer on the Warped Tour. Following the Trivium run will be appearances on all the U.S. dates of Dir En Grey’s winter tour.

England's 1988 Castle Donnington Monsters of Rock festival featured one of the most enticing heavy metal lineups ever — Guns N' Roses, Megadeth, David Lee Roth, Kiss, and headlined by Iron Maiden (the show holds an attendance record of over 100,000).
