Abysmal Dawn Has Begun Writing For Next Album

Abysmal Dawn has posted the following end of year update:
"We'd like to thank everyone that has made 2006 a great year for Abysmal Dawn. A lot has happened this past year. Our debut album, "From Ashes," was released and very well received by fans and critics alike. We also did our first full US tour with our brothers in Six Feet Under, Krisiun and Decaptitated and had the time of our lives! We even got to do a mini-tour with Asesino, appear at the first annual California Metalfest and play some killer gigs with our idols Cryptopsy and Suffocation among others. These are the first steps in our career and we hope to share many more years of metal with you all.
See you all you maniacs once again on the road in 2007!
In the meantime, we have already begun writing the follow-up to "From Ashes" in the downtime between tours. We hope to enter the studio again sometime in the summer of '07 and hopefully have it out before the end of the year. With two songs completed so far and several more in the early stages, it's looking like the material will be even faster and more complex than ever. We will be debuting a couple of new songs at our shows leading up to the recording, so be sure to check us out live in the near future.
We are currently compiling all the press we have received for "From Ashes" in our media section of our web site. If you find we are missing something please let us know so that we may update it."
