Body of Scars guitarist checks in from the studio

BODY OF SCARS, the Phoenix, Arizona-based band featuring JAG PANZER drummer Rikard Stjernquist and former 40 GRIT vocalist/guitarist James Santiago, entered the studio this past June to begin recording its second album, tentatively due September 2009.

Commented guitarist Randy Davis: "We have been busy in the studio, we have posted a new song (full version) for everyone to hear what we've been up to. The song is called 'Miricle of Life'. The second offering (untitled) so far has 16 songs and is around 68 minutes long. We are very excited for the way it's turning out, some songs that we thought were B-sides or throwaways are turning into real monsters. We hope you enjoy what you hear.'

Formed in August 2006, Body Of Scars' current lineup is completed by bassist Brian Shoemake.
