Burzum mastermind, Varg Vilkirnes, to be released from prison

Varg Vikernes has announced to the Norwegian Dagbladet news , I can confirm that I will soon be released." In September last year he received his fourth parole rejection from the prison system, but as of a couple of weeks ago, he got the answer he has long waited for. Although a firm release date has yet to be announced, Vikernes is expected to be released shortly after 16 years.

When asked about his return to society, he stated " I have barely seen my son since he came to the world. Although I hear his voice on the phone almost every day, it is very tough and not be present when he grows up. I miss my family. And I look forward the day that I can work on the farm, make music, write books and be with my wife and kids around the clock - and live a normal life as a family."
