Kylesa, Withered & Skeletonwitch play free show in Atlanta on Friday

The Savannah, Ga.-based KYLESA will release their fourth album, Static Tensions, on Mar. 17. In its 9/10 review, Decibel calls the album Kylesa's best yet, while Revolver's four-star review praises the "sweetest and sunniest hooks of their career." After Scion, KYLESA will embark on the "Southern Discomfort" tour with SKELETONWITCH, a trek that includes a stop at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas. The group will continue to tour throughout the spring.
Immediately following the "Southern Discomfort" tour, midwestern metal maniacs SKELETONWITCH will join Swedish viking metallers Amon Amarth for a national tour. The group, which has played more than 250 concerts over the last two years, will debut their new music video, "Sacrifice For The Slaughtergod," this Friday (Feb. 27) on MySpace Metal.
Hometown heroes WITHERED, whose latest release Folie Circulaire was named one of Decibel's Top 40 albums of 2008, recently completed a national tour with Watain and will soon return to the road as part of the inaugural Blackenedfest tour package, which also features Mayhem, Marduk, Cephalic Carnage and Cattle Decapitation. The group will also perform at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on Apr. 17.
