Former Slipknot Drummer Joins Suicidal Tendencies

In a statement released today, drummer Jay Weinberg, formerly of Slipknot, announced his official joining of the American crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies.

Weinberg expressed his enthusiasm: "Suicidal Tendencies has been a cornerstone of the heavy music scene for decades, and a huge influence on me since I first got into punk, metal, and hardcore. It's an honor to join a band I've admired for so long."

He continued, mentioning his existing relationship with the band members: "Having shared stages worldwide, I've developed friendships with these musical heroes who've shaped Suicidal Tendencies' legacy. I'm excited for this next chapter!"
