The Gauntlet: Arsis Metal News

Arsis Post Studio Update

Arsis ARSIS have posted the following studio update:

“Well, we’re nearing the end of our time here at Planet Z studios. The album, to us, so far is a real treat and we hope the same for everyone else. It fuckin’ rips from start to finish. James’ vocals are raw and catcby. We’ve pretty delivered with this one. All we have left are some clean guitar parts and some leads. We’ll be done tracking tomorrow, so it’ll be ready to mix on Friday. After that, mastering.

We’ll also be shooting a video for one of the songs next month. More details on that to follow.

Also, hit up Hot Topic before they sell out! We’re in Hails and Horns magazine in a feature with Maris the Great! We’re all dead in these pictures and they look fuckin’ great.

Lastly, if you ordered merch or planning on it, WE HAVE OUR SHIT BACK FINALLY! We’ve mailed out hundreds upon hundreds of your merchandise. Now, to further avoid train wrecks like that, we have someone COMPLETELY running our online store for us. It is totally cool to order shit now.”

Kirk Hammett of Metallica was vacationing in Cabo San Lucas and walked into Cabo Wabo while the Mexican band Vitamin T was playing a cover of 'Until It Sleeps'. Hammett walked over and grabbed a guitar and jammed along with the band.
