Berlin, Germany's The Ocean (Metal Blade Records) is actively in search of a new bass player. Here's a statement from the group:
"It seems like this issue always comes back to us. Due to the Ocean collective's current bass players' inability to cope with our heavy touring schedules we need a new bass player for all our upcoming touring activities. What we're looking for is a nice, sociable guy with: skills, dedication, experience, smooth and precise playing (good tone, finger and pick), time for extensive tours, high level of tolerance for the typical stress on-the-road, ability to read sheet music not necessary (but advantageous), located in Europe."
"If you're a bass-player (and not just a guitarist), please write us an email and tell us about yourself. Be prepared to be on the road nonstop between mid March and mid July in the US, Europe and Russia. Your chance to join us! We're looking forward to hearing from you!"
