Metallica issues festivals update

METALLICA have issued the following update:

"Greetings from Northern California. As you probably noticed, there are a few open dates on the calendar this summer and we'll be filling them by visiting some of our favourite spots in Europe and hitting the annual music festivals. With that said, we're looking forward to heading back to Nickelsdorf, Austria for the Novarock Festival on Friday, June 19, 2009.

Three day tickets are already on sale at www.musicticket.at and currently you can only purchase a pass for the entire weekend. Other headliners are PLACEBO and DIE TOTEN HOSEN.
