The Gauntlet: Slave To The System Metal News

Slave To The System vocalist says second record is complete

Slave To The System Damon Johnson, vocalist for Slave To The System recently confirmed that the band has already completed their sophomore effort. With the band's Spitfire Records debut due in a little less than a month, the possibility of two Slave To The System albums seeing the light of day in 2006 is a quite realistic as an excited Johnson remarked, "We've got a second record in the can already. So if we can have our way about it, we want to get this second record out. It's finished, mixed, mastered'"

The singer, known for his role in the hard rock outfit Brother Cane has most recently been a member of The Alice Cooper Band but sees Slave To The System as a large priority in 2006. When asked by The Gauntlet if the second album would be forthcoming in 2006, the rocker stated, "That's what we would like to do."

Led by the hard-rocking title track "Stigmata", which hits radio airwaves next week, the band's self-titled debut lands in the racks February 21st.
