Megadeth drummer issues update

MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover has issued the following update:

"Hello all,

Back at home now from my second trip to San Diego, to which all things are going great at Vic's Garage (our recording studio name). We are very close to making the studio 100% functional, so we are all pretty excited about that, believe me.

My drum set I will be using for the record will be my B-Rig kit I used on fly dates on the world tour, as well as the entire South American tour we completed in June 2008. Once this new record is finished, I will be auctioning off the drum set on our Megadeth ebay site and donating part of the $$$ to a charity called TACA (Talk About Curing Autism) - more on this in the coming months, as the record won't be finished until some time in 2009.

And of course by now, you must know that we are hitting the road in Feb/March 2009 with JUDAS PRIEST and TESTAMENT - I dont know about you, but I am going to have a blast on this tour~!!!!!!!!!"
