Metallica have held onto the No. 1 spot in the UK albums chart for a second week with their 9th album - Death Magnetic, beating off competition from Queen, The Streets, and The Coral. They are also No. 1 in the following countries:

Denmark - second week at No.1

Holland

Also, Turkey , no official chart but they are no.1 in every retail chart in the country

Metallica will kick off their U.S. tour on 21st October in Glendale , Arizona, which will take them through to the end of January.
