Obscura signs with Relapse Records

German progressive death metal band Obscura has officially joined the Relapse Records roster. The group is currently recording their second full-length, which will be available in early-2009.

Frontman Steffan Kummerer comments: "We are very happy to have found in Relapse a strong partner for the upcoming albums. We think Relapse is one of the best homes for progressive death metal in general and we are looking forward for this long time cooperation. We are putting the final touches on the mix and mastering for the upcoming album which will see the light in the beginning of next year. Obscura are back - stronger than ever!"
