Slipknot Nominated for MTV Video Music Award

MTV has just announced that Slipknot has been nominated for a MTV VMA. The band was nominated in the "Best Rock Video" category for their "Psychosocial" video off the album All Hope Is Gone. The album will be released on Aug. 26 via Roadrunner Records. Other artists vying for this year's "Best Rock Video" are Paramore, Linkin' Park, Foo Fighters and Fall Out Boy.

The VMA's will air live on September 7, 2008 on MTV.
