Heavy Heavy Low Low loses guitarist

Heavy Heavy Low Low has announced the amicable departure of guitarist Ryan "Chip" Madden. Here's a statement from the band:

"He has decided to take a step back from the music business and life of touring to pursue new job opportunities. We wish him the best of luck.

"He will still be playing the upcoming California Tour (August 16-23) though, so come out to see him and bring him some whiskey. There are no hard feelings between chip and the band, we love the fucker and support his decisions to the fullest extent.

"Meanwhile Sam Pura from the Panda Studios will be filling in for Chip on our upcoming Horse The Band, HHLL, and So Many Dynamos run through the U.S. this September."
