Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne will be presented with the Living Legend award at this year's Classic Rock Roll of Honor awards.
The former Black Sabbath frontman was confirmed as the winner of the award when the nominations were unveiled in London on Wednesday by Alice Cooper - who won the award himself last year.
Other previous recipients include Led Zeppelin star Jimmy Page and Lemmy from Motorhead. Page will also be in the running for an award at this year's ceremony; Led Zeppelin are up for three awards, including Band of the Year, DVD of the Year and Event of the Year for their triumphant reunion show at London's O2 Arena in December.
British bands Def Leppard and Whitesnake will go head to head in the Album of the Year, Band of the Year and Event of the Year categories. Other nominees include heavy metal outfit Kiss, who are up for Band of the Year and Event of the Year, and newcomers Stone Gods and Big Linda - who will battle it out for the Best New Band crown.
