WITHERED announces free LA show with Today Is The Day

Withered (2008) Atlanta's WITHERED is excited to announce a free Los Angeles-area appearance as part of SCION's Metal Show series, this time in Hollywood alongside Today Is The Day on August 4. Admission is free to those who RSVP. Doors will open promptly at 8pm and WITHERED will take the stage at 8:30 sharp and will be playing the bulk of the band's new record, 'Folie Circulaire,' along with some selections from their first record, Memento Mori. Today Is The Day will hit the stage at 9:45, so promptness is suggested to secure your spot into the club. Remember, admission is free but you must RSVP to attend, which can be done at www.scion.com/metalshow, and space is limited.

'Folie Circulaire' was released in late June through Prosthetic, the band's second full-length, and the New York Times says praised the album, saying, "These tracks contain a vast, roaring sea of guitar, and after a while you stop thinking about the artists' hands; it sounds as if it's not made by pale, bearded guys from Atlanta but by forces of weather." Additional touring for WITHERED later this year is being confirmed now and should be announced soon.
