The Showdown New Album August 19th on Solid State

Tennessee's metal contingent The Showdown is proud to announce the release of their upcoming album, Back Breaker, due August 19 on Solid State Records. The crushing new record marks The Showdown's Solid State debut.

Vocalist David Bunton commented on the new album: "Back Breaker is the sum of our band's raw power, aggression, and total dedication to heavy metal. It's all about our band getting what we do live on tape. Back Breaker is the record The Showdown made when we stopped caring about anything but heavy metal. If a riff is heavy, you don't have to over think it. Just let it crush you. We are 100% dedicated to heavy metal and pushing ourselves to playing it as loud and rude as possible."
