Rockers AC/DC have persuaded a porn website to drop their name after fans keen to get information about the group found themselves looking at dirty deeds. ACDC.com has been specializing in porn for years, but now the Hell's Bells hitmakers have taken charge of the domain name.
The group's management chose to claim the site for themselves after learning young fans had been surfing the site by mistake.
Band spokesman Sam Horsburgh says, "The demographic of the band has shifted a lot. The push to get it (website domain name) back came predominantly because they knew there were a lot of younger fans coming through."
The band plans to relaunch ACDC.com as an official website later this year.
