The Gauntlet: Ed Gein Metal News

ED GEIN clears up confusion regarding Slaughter Fest

Ed Gein Ed Gein is NOT playing Slaughter Fest in Rochester, NY on November 24th.

We were asked if we would like to play but did not confirm one way or the other that we would or wouldn't because we didn't know if we would be able to. I do not know why we are being advertised on this show. We did NOT agree to play it. And as of last night I found out that we will definitely NOT be able to play it due to prior engagements. I apologize for any confusion caused by the people posting false information.

Again, ED GEIN DID NOT AGREE TO PLAY THIS SHOW, AND IS NOT PLAYING THIS SHOW. If it's not listed under our shows on our myspace page, then it's bogus.

In REAL show news, we actually WILL be playing Rochester on December 2nd at the Steel Music Hall with Psyopus. I am waiting for all the exact info and as soon as I have it it will be up on our page. - Aaron

Kirk Hammett of Metallica was vacationing in Cabo San Lucas and walked into Cabo Wabo while the Mexican band Vitamin T was playing a cover of 'Until It Sleeps'. Hammett walked over and grabbed a guitar and jammed along with the band.
