OMNIUM GATHERUM - "Fuck The Bass Players!"

Finland's OMNIUM GATHERUM have issued the following update:

"Shit happens again and we found ourselves again losing the bass player somewhere out in space. Eerik (Purdon) really surprised us all and decided to left the band this soon. No drama, no fights, nothing, as we ain't got a clue really what the hell happened here!

So - all the decent basstard candidates feel free to contact us on this case (ogatherum@gmail.com)!

However, this won't affect in any way to our autumn touring and all the booked gigs and the European tour will be made and played."

Omnium Gatherum recently revealed the tracklisting for their forthcoming album The Redshift. It contains the following 11 songs: 'Nail', 'A Shadowkey', 'Chameleon Skin', 'No Breaking Point', 'The Return', 'Shapes And Shades', 'The Redshifter', 'Greeneyes', 'The Second Flame', 'Song For December', 'Distant Light Highway'.

Dan Swan�, who is handling the mixing/mastering process, commented on the new album: "I hate bands like Omnium Gatherum, they are so good it pisses me off! Their fine blend of melody and aggression is so good I actually thought about stealing the record and releasing it as my own. You won't find a better album in years."
