The Gauntlet: Zyklon Metal News

Zyklon "Storm Detonation Live" DVD Hits Shelves

Zyklon Zyklon is a name that has risen quickly to the top of extreme metal's elite list. Surely having former members of Emperor within their ranks has helped, but what has really set Norway's Zyklon apart is their musical precision, speed, lyrical direction and quality songmanship. Their next release sees Zyklon touch down with their first DVD, titled "Storm Detonation Live".

Recorded at Germany's 2004 Party San Festival, the DVD contains tonnes of great footage from the band's live show plus exclusive on-the-road/backstage filming, an exclusive look into reheasals for the band's new album and both "Psyklon Aeon" and "Core Solution" videos. Storm Detonation Live captures this foursome at their ferocious best - live on stage.

The DVD proceeds the band's next album "Disintegrate" which is due for release this coming May.
Catch Zyklon live at the Day Into Night Festival, Friday 12th May at The Camden Underworld.

A planned collaboration between Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford never got off the ground despite being reported in the press.
