The Stars Come Out For Metal Skool
Every so often Pop, Metal and Hip-Hop collide... and last night's METAL SKOOL at West Hollywood's KEY CLUB was no exception. JERRY CANTRELL of ALICE IN CHAINS joined the band to sing Happy Birthday to DAVE DRAIMAN of DISTURBED. Also spotted in VIP.... SHAVO of SYSTEM OF A DOWN, JOHN LECOMPT & ROCKY GRAY OF EVANESCENCE, VINNY PAUL of PANTERA, and SCOTT IAN from ANTHRAX as well as hip-hoppers RZA, TAXMAN of KMK, and COOLIO. But even pop-stars can't resist the urge to sing with METAL SKOOL. JUSTIN GUARINI of American Idol jumped up with the heavy-metal comedy act for Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" and JOEY MCINTYRE (of NKOTB and Dancing With the Stars fame) was also spotted.
