Blackened Moon Concert Hall Kicks Band Off Bill For Being Nazi's

Just a little over a week after the King, Jeff Loomis, The Contortionist debacle, The Blackened Moon Concert Hall is Lansing, MI is making waves again. This time they have upset people by booking Major Disappointment, a pro-nazi white power band.

The show was scheduled for this Saturday and earlier today, people began voicing their opinions on the venues facebook page questioning the venues judgement. One commenter stated "If that whitepower band is still on the bill I expect Bert and Bruxism to drop off. Fuck those nazi fucks, come anywhere near detroit and you will have your gear, van and bodies smash...that is a promise"

Within a couple hours, Blackened Moon officials issued the following:

"this is Marvin the guy who booked the show, MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT IS DROPPED FROM THE SHOW AND OFFICIALLY NOT PLAYING, so if the rest of the bands would still play it would be great, the moon does not associate with nazis, and we did not know they were a nazi band, if any other bands dont wanna play still....please let me know thanks."

You'd think that would be the end of it, problem solved, but not on the internet. Within a few minutes of the posting, fans began commenting once again with one stating "Every band playing, drop this show. The Blackened Moon is discriminating based upon political affiliation. Metal is about concepts from all viewpoints and all walks of life, not just PC bullshit. You don't censor metal."
