How can anyone take the first one seriously? How can anyone take ANY song seriously when the lead singer sings like that. Metal or not, it is and always has been ridiculous. Get someone with some talent on lead vocals and re-record if you like covering a sabbath tune. On another note, if anyone hasn't heard it already, if you want to know what doing justice to a cover song sounds like go grab Metallica doing Sabbath's Sabbra Cadabbra. Well done, doesn't stray away from the song but made it a metallica song at the same time. Very nice job of covering any song, much less one as significant to the metal genre.

As much as I dislike bruce dickinson his version is miles ahead of any non-sabbath version of the song I've ever heard. I'd love to hear Halford sing it that would be tops.

between those 2...Bruce Dickson and Godspeed... but Sabath´s version is still better

The Anthrax cover of this Sabbath classic is still the best version!

My vote goes to AMON AMARTH. What makes a good cover song is when the listener can recognize the song but it's still done in the covering band's style. Not that Bruce Dickinson is a Sabbath rip off, but they are cut from the same cloth, unlike AMON AMARTH. Also, listen to SIX FEET UNDER's version of "Back In Black"...now imagine AIRBOURNE doing it. See what I mean?

Dickinson and Godspeed is the better one.
