The Gauntlet: Metal News

MENTAL DEMISE signs to Xtreem Music

Ukrainian brutal Death Metallers MENTAL DEMISE have inked a deal with XTREEM MUSIC for the release of their upcoming 2nd album "Final Step to Future Madness". This new effort features the services of new vocalist Andrey "Sadist" Burovenko, seeing the band showing a faster, more intense and technical style still in the ultra-brutal blasting Death Metal vein that characterized their previous recordings with influences from bands like CRYPTOPSY, KRONOS, early ABORTED, DEICIDE, DECAPITATED... spiced with some killer old styled Florida's Death Metal.

The new album was recorded at famous polish Hertz Studios (VADER, DECAPITATED, KRONOS, EMETH...) which guarantees a killer top-noch production. This work includes 11 new songs plus 3 old tunes featuring new vocalist.

"Final Step to Future Madness" will see the light by the end of summer '08. In the meantime you can hear some advance songs at the band's official website www.myspace.com/psychopenetration
