Black Tide Billboard Debut + performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live


Black Tide (2008) Miami, Florida-based rockers Black Tide have made a huge splash on the Billboard charts with their debut album, Light From Above, selling over 11,300 units in its first week. The album, released on Interscope Records, debuted at #73 on the Billboard Top 200.

Black Tide will also be playing LIVE on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live show this Thursday March 27. The episode airs Thursday night at 12:05AM (on March 28). Black Tide will be performing the album's first single, "Shockwave." The brand-new video for "Shockwave" – directed by Travis Kopach (Buckcherry, Panic at the Disco) - is available at http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1568964&vid=216310.

After busting onto the scene last summer as main stage openers on Ozzfest 2007, Black Tide has been touring non-stop in support of Light From Above, playing with such reputable and established acts as Avenged Sevenfold, Chimaira, and All That Remains. Black Tide has also secured a spot on this summer's Rockstar MAYHEM Festival tour, which also features headliners Slipknot, Disturbed, Mastodon, and Dragonforce.
