The Gauntlet: Bullet For My Valentine Metal News

Bullet For My Valentine to Support Guns N' Roses in New York

Bullet For My Valentine Solidyfing their worldwide ascendancy into the hierarchy of metal and rock stardom, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE (BFMV) have been named as main support for GUNS N' ROSES in their sold out four night New York City stay.

The Wales, UK Based BFMV will also be main support for Axl Rose and company when they come to Europe later this year as well as sharing the stage with METALLICA.

The dates with Guns N' Roses will lead right into the band's first U.S. headlining tour dubbed the Trustkill Takeover Tour with support from labelmates WALLS OF JERICHO and ROSES ARE RED.

Speaking on the confirmation of the Guns N Roses dates, Tuck says "We are honored to be asked to do the shows with Guns N' Roses. They are a fucking legend!"

In Europe BFMV-mania is at a furious high with The Poison nearly at gold status. The group has a stranglehold on media there with the album debuting #1 at Rock Radio as well as their faces gracing the cover of outlets like Metal Hammer and Kerrang. In the States press has been picking up the fever with media outlets like MTV Headbangers Ball and Music Choice appearances as well as appearances in the pages of Revolver as an Band to Watch in 2006 and Alternative Press in the Bands You Need to Know in 2006 issue. A recent appearance in Guitar World hits the nail of the hype on its head saying "One of BFMV's greatest assets is their ability to play passages that are scathing, endorphin pumped and catchy enough to hum."

Along the lines of Billy Corgan's 1999 collaboration with Mike Garson on the score for the religious horror film Stigmata, the following year Korn's Jonathan Davis collaborated with composer Richard Gibbs on the score for the film adaptation of Anne Rices's novel Queen of the Damned.
