The Gauntlet: Bullet For My Valentine Metal News

Bullet For My Valentine # 4 on Billboard

Bullet For My Valentine Jive/20-20 metal band Bullet For My Valentine’s album Scream Aim Fire debuts this week at # 4 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums Chart and #2 on the Top Alternative & Hard Music charts. Their highly anticipated sophomore album was released in the U.S. on January 29th. The 11-track assault was produced by Colin Richardson (Machine Head, Funeral For A Friend) and features the explosive first single with the same name, “Scream Aim Fire” which continues its ascent on the Active and Modern Rock Charts.

Across the globe Scream Aim Fire has debuted within the Top 5 on several album charts, hitting #1 on Japan’s International Charts, #3 in Germany and Austria, #4 in Australia, and #5 in the UK.

Revolver magazine heralded Bullet For My Valentine as “British Import of the Year,” and has the band on the cover of its March issue, themed “The Future of Metal.” Front-man Matt Tuck says, “We have stepped it up a gear…this album is chock full of classic Bullet ingredients. Metal riffs, pounding rhythms, shredding solos and great melodies.”

To support the release of Scream Aim Fire, Bullet For My Valentine will set off on what will be more than two years of solid worldwide touring, starting in the UK & Europe in January, and then coming to America for the Taste Of Chaos tour kicking off at the Fillmore in Denver, CO on February 29th.

The Welsh metal-core band has spent most of the past two years taking over the world with massive UK, European, U.S and worldwide tours, sharing the stage with Guns N Roses, Metallica, and Iron Maiden, playing the main stage at just about every rock festival on the planet, and seeing their 2006 debut album The Poison sell more than one million copies worldwide.
